Social media has become an obsession and lifestyle in today’s society. After a failed Instagram account that I barely utilized over the past few years, I have decided to start a new account. This new Instagram account, @CKFits, will solely focus on fits and fashion, as a way to express my clothing preferences. I plan on posting daily (although it may not be), pics of my outfit for the day, along with a song lyric to make my posts both visually and mentally entertaining.

With this new account, I hope to share my life with everybody, through music and style. I think we can really express ourselves through social media if we use it as a beneficial platform. I hope to gain many likes and followers because it is not your average account, as it can touch and relate to people all across the world. I want to encourage everybody to take pride in what they wear and not be afraid to promote styles to others. I don’t wanna be “Insta-famous”, I just want to use Instagram to bring about humor and style.

As I start out, I will use my basic phone camera with basic filters. Hopefully, I will end up with better cameras and doper shots, but to start out, I will go nice and slow.

Views was released on Friday, April 29th, on Apple Music. It is Drake’s fourth studio album, but is clearly not his best one. While featuring catchy lyrics, cool beats, and unique track names, Views did not live up to the expectations of a monster album from perhaps the most popular rapper in the world today.

This album reminds me a lot of Nothing Was the Same, but most of the tracks on Views are more mediocre than bangers. This album is a mix of Drake and rapping and singing, and there clearly was a ton of autotune used. Popular names like Future and Rihanna appear on the album, but “Grammys” was not as good as other Drake and Future tracks, as it probably could have used some Metro Boomin to spice it up. Too many songs on this album are similar and do not stand out from one another. For example, “Views”, which should be his most significant track, is not memorable and contains average lyrics along with a beat that won’t sweep you off your feet.

I think what makes Drake great is that he sets the tone for the seasons to come, but this album seems like it will be stuck in the spring and not carry over into the summer. He released his best tracks, “One Dance” and “Pop Style”, as lead singles, s0 the rest of the album did not live up to the hype. I think this album may grow on me, but for now, it is nothing more than average, catchy Aubrey Drake Graham.

A typical Hype Beast wears a snap back, a brand name t-shirt (possibly Supreme or Diamond), ripped jeans or joggers, and the newest Jordans.

2. The Biker Bro– This is the dude who probably rides his bike to school because he enjoys it and maybe an environmental enthusiast. A typical Biker Bro wears vans, skinny jeans, a pocket tee, sun glasses, and a Herschel backpack.

3. The Brolic Bro– This is the dude who loves to work out and is probably trying to get muscles in order to impress girls or to boost self-esteem, and this dude is not afraid to show off his gains. A typical Brolic Bro wears an under armour compression shirt, adidas sweatpants, and Nike flyknit sneakers.

4. The Musical Maniac– This is the dude who loves to play and listen to music, and tends to talk about and hang out with other musical enthusiasts. A typical Musical Maniac wears a band related T-shirt, a leather jacket, blue jeans, and Converse sneakers.

5. The Roaster– This is the dude who lives for teasing and making fun of people based on their silly actions and word choices. A Roaster is not a bully, but he usually finds pleasure in commenting on others’ flaws. A typical roaster wears a chain, a brand name shirt (possibly Urban Outfitters), black jeans, and Roshe Runs

6. The Ball is Life Bro– This is the dude who is obsessed with basketball (or any sport) and is constantly wearing ball clothes or is talking about ball instead of doing school work. This dude may not even be on the team, but aspires to be in the NBA one day. The typical Ball is Life Bro carries a basketball on him, wears a Nike Elite backpacks, reps a professional team sweatshirt, an Adidas or Nike clearance section shirt, Nike sweatpants, Nike Elite socks, and is wearing a pair of basketball shoes for casual purposes.

7. The Actual Athlete– Not to be confused with the Ball is Life Bro, The Actual Athlete participates on a school athletic team and plays a sport on his free time. The typical Actual Athlete wears a varsity or team coat, a plain or pocket tee, nice jeans or joggers, black socks, and Roshe Runs.

8. The Skater– This is the dude who loves skateboarding and considers it not just an activity, but a lifestyle. The typical Skater wears a polo hat, a brand name jacket (probably Grizzly or Stussy), an Urban Outfitters shirt, ripped jeans, and Nike SBs.

9. The Chick Magnet– This is the dude who comes to school just to flirt with other girls. This dude usually talks only about girls to his dude friends, and when talking to girls, tries to make them laugh. The typical Chick Magnet wears a button shirt, dark jeans, and Timberland boots.

10. The Clown– This is the dude who cracks jokes every few seconds and lives for others’ laughs. Even if a joke is not funny, they’ll say it anyway to get attention and to make others’ days less stressful. The typical Clown wears a plain tee or polo shirt, khakis or blue jeans, and wears ASCIS or New Balance sneakers.

I have heard people call me weird throughout the years. When I was younger, it bothered me a bit, but now, I am used to it and take pride in my unusual passions and actions. Being weird has not only become part of my personality, but I can now acknowledge “weird” as one way I identify myself.

What I’ve learned is to always smile after something you do or say is considered “weird”. If you demonstrate that you are ashamed by what you have done, people will not hold your actions against you, and may laugh along in turn. It doesn’t matter how weird an action does, because a smile will resemble pride and make others happier.

Honestly, sometimes I may be weird because I am just trying to make others laugh and be happy during stressful days at school. Often, I know what I say or do is not a usual act, but sometimes I do it to lighten the mood. I know if a joke is corny or cheesy before I say it, but it still comes out of my mouth anyway. Even a bad joke can make people happier and laugh.

My message is to not let other people tell you how to act and what to say. Be yourself, be weird, and be prideful of your passions and actions!

8. Kendrick Lamar– He’s not just my favorite rapper, but his composure and dedication motivate me to be a better, more sincere person

9. Timber Lake Camp– My camp that I work at; it’s been my summer home for seven years

10. Trumpet– I have now played it for five years with a long break in between, and it is now part of my musical genius attitude

11. Black Socks– I rock black socks nowadays, it was a style change that just kind of happened

12. Shake Shack– The burgers are delicious and there is no food I am looking forward to eat more

13. Basketball– A sport that is fun to play, watch, and talk about

14. Tissues– I am allergic to pollen and dust mites, so I use a lot of tissues
