Shrek is one of my favorite movies. It was very advanced and mind-altering when it came out in 2001. I’ve been a fan ever since I’ve seen it. It has so many great attributes. It’s filled with comedy, conflict, celebrity voiceovers, even a lot of sad moments. The over all lesson is that casting judgement leads to biased opinions of others and can affect how you treat them. Shrek is treated as an outcast because the over consensus on ogres is that they are beasts and destructive and not fit to associate with humans. Shrek is a very innovative movie, another lesson it thought me was that not every girl needs a “prince-charming”. That was a very valuable lesson.
