People struggle with large pores all the time. Tightening pores can be a long journey. The first way to tighten pores is by cleaning them out. Another way is through masks. To be precise, clay masks. Clay masks can offer many types of benefits for the skin. But in particular, they can help clean out and tighten pores.
Bentonite clay is one inexpensive and effective clay mask. This mask will help pull out the impurities from your pores and tighten them. I also find that this mask helps get rid of pimples. All you need is some of the bentonite clay and some apple idea vinegar. Beware: do not let the clay touch any metal objects; it will deactivate the effects of the bentonite clay. In a non-metal bowl, take about one tablespoon of bentonite clay and one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix the two ingredients together with a non-metal spoon. After mixing, all you have to do is apply the mask to your face and any trouble spots. Then you wait until about 20-30 minutes or until the mask is dry. While it dries, you should feel a tightening feeling from the mask. Afterwards, clean off the mask with warm water. You should do this mask once a week. Hopefully, you’ll see results soon.
Another effective mask that I personally use is the Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask from Korea. I love this mask because it helps clean out the pores, exfoliates, tones, and tightens the pores. Smooth over this mask on a clean, dry face after apply toner. It helps if you open the pores on your face beforehand via steam or hot water. After applying, just let it sit on your face. The instructions on the back say to let it sit for about 10 minutes, but I let it sit on my face for about an hour for better results. Then you wash off the mask with clean water. When I clean off this mask, I notice that my face feels much smoother and the pores are cleared of sebum and excess oils. My pores also seem smaller. It really makes a difference. I recommend applying this about once a week.
One other clay mask (also) from Korea is the Coalion Premium Hot & Cool Pore Pack Duo. I use this mask to help clear and tighten my pores. This masks comes in two steps: step one is the Blackhead Steam Pore Pack and step two is the Pore Original Pack. In step one, you apply the blackhead steam pore mask on a clean, dry face. When you do, gently exfoliate it onto your skin for about 1-2 minutes. You should feel your skin getting hotter. After about 5-10 minutes, you can exfoliate once more and wash it off with clean water. After this comes step two where you apply the other mask on. Apply the mask onto clean dry face. You should feel a tingling, cooling effect as you leave it on. After about 10-15, wash it off with clean water. Apply these masks about twice a week. The first step helps me clean my face and it feels very soft after washing it off. The second step helps me tighten my pores and it give a nice refreshing feeling.
Now that you know about clay masks, you can use them and tighten and shrink the appearance of your pores. Good luck!

Internet user “xX360proscopeXx” was recently detained for sending death threats to President Barack Obama.
“I was deeply shocked” Obama announced last tuesday. “We live in a free country, however such verbal conduct is unacceptable.” The FBI is currently looking into whether xX360proscopeXx is linked to a terrorist cell.
None the less, he is scheduled to death by electric chair.
“loneliness is a sign you are desperate need of yourself.”-rupi kaur
This struck me because when we all feel lonely sometimes, we think we need the contact of another body, or the sound of another persons voice, or just their presence. But in reality if we feel the need for another person it is because we want some one else to take care of us and give us attention.Feeling lonely just means that we should work and to focus on helping ourselves and treating ourselves right(better).
Out of all the teams that made it to the 2016 NBA finals I think that the Cavs and the Warriors have the most leverage.
Both the Cavs and the Warriors have very known MVPs and good team chemistry. The majority of people probably think that the Warriors will win it all because of the hype of Steph Curry and the fact that they broke the record of 73 wins in a single season, but I am not sure of that will take them all the way to the championship.
College, in general, is a stressful process for anyone. I remember junior year making my college list, everything I was saying was just me talking out of my ass. I put down a random list of schools that seemed like I would be good there. Even now, I don’t know where I would be good at. You can’t know where you’ll be happy or unhappy until you’ve experienced it. This fact made my college decision even harder. Yesterday I decided to attend the University of Maryland, and making this decision was not easy. At the end of it, I went with my gut. I believe that your gut tells you a lot and if you have a gut feeling not to go somewhere, you shouldn’t go.
So in AP Literature and Composition we are currently learning about landay poetry. Landay poetry originated in Afghanistan by women. Women are frowned upon for writing poetry, so landay poetry is usually anonymous and consists of topics about grief, love, separation, war or homeland. Landay poems are two-lined oral poetry, that has nine syllables in the first line and thirteen syllables in the second line (twenty two syllables total), but recently have been shared through social media. In Arabic, the poems sometimes rhyme in “ma” or “na” sounding endings, so because we, or most of us, write in english we weren’t required to use a “ma” or “na” ending. So I will not be in school tomorrow to have my english teacher read or check my poem, there I have decided to write it on this blog because I can.
“I look upon the lost memories,
For they are as distant as sailing the seven seas.”
Today in AP Literature, we had to think about a social issue we are interested in. Child trafficking– that’s what needs to seriously change.
According to ungift.org, “Child trafficking can occur when children are abducted from the streets, sold into sexual slavery and forced marriage by relatives, or in any place where traffickers, pimps and recruiters prey upon a child’s vulnerabilities. Poverty is the pre-condition that makes it easier for traffickers to operate.Children are often trafficked, employed and exploited because, compared to adults, they are more vulnerable, cheaper to hire and are less likely to demand higher wages or better working conditions. Some employers falsely argue that children are particularly suited to certain types of work because of their small size and “nimble fingers”.”
I’ll be honest, I live in a secluded world. There are problems upon problems in reality and I’ve never experienced them. Here I am, freely writing my thoughts and living my life, when there are children around the world who can’t because they’ve been enslaved.
Here are some statistics from wearethorn.org:
This is sickening and needs to change.

I’ve always had a love for fashion. 4 years ago, Make-a-Wish asked me what my wish was. I wanted to be a fashion designer. Of course, I don’t think that life is meant for me (now), but I wanted the experience…
Here are a few photos from my Make-a-Wish fashion show at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
