The town of Woodstock sits quietly just two hours north of New York and man is it a different world once you get there. The small quiet town still holds the memories of decades past. The music festivals and world famous musicians that had come through are still lingering in the memories of the town. The people you see there today are mostly tourists but the locals definitely stand out for sure. They are a quirky bunch, defined by their outfits straight out of Woodstock’s heyday in the late 60’s. There is a man that walks around a potbelly pig on a leash, obnoxiously talking to people and going into stores. It’s definitely a scene there but it is one to see.
